Experimental geometry II

Designed and produced by the French CoI

The activities invite the students to solve problems, discovering and experimenting with geometric loci of special points in a triangle.

Cross-widget communication allows articulating different representations of a geometric locus  through a geometric figure, an algebraic expression of the locus and its graph. Communication is fostered through a group chat in many places. An adaptive feedback provides three kinds of hints: technical help messages aiming at supporting the student’s use of available widgets,mathematical hints aiming at scaffolding the student’s problem solving endeavour, and creativity hints aiming at fostering the development of the student’s creative thinking.
