Frizzes, Dominos and Tetris
Designed and produced by the Spanish CoI
This c-unit, designed by a team of Secondary School teachers and Education researchers, is focused on Geometrical transformations (translation, rotation, symmetries), composition and decomposition of
figures, tiling regions, relations with geometry and certain calculus concepts (multiples and divisors) and computations of certain geometrical magnitudes (area and perimeter).
Patterns
Designed and produced by the Spanish CoI
This c-book has been designed by Secondary School teachers and Education researchers for students of 13-14 year-olds.
The c-book unit has two parts: The first part is focused on geometrical patterns. The goal is to understand the patterns, follow the series and express them algebraically. The second part poses a problem, also related to geometrical patterns, but in three dimensions, so it is given in a more sequential way. In addition, some questions about geometrical elements emerge.
What is hidden behind these ruins?
Designed and produced by the Spanish CoI.
This c-unit has been design by Secondary teachers of Mathematics and History, and also Education researchers, in the spirit of a cross-disciplinary study. It has been created for 13-15 year-olds students.
Left-handedness and probability
Designed and produced by the Spanish CoI.
The c-book unit has been designed by a team of Secondary School teacher, Education and Mathematics researchers. The main aim of it is to characterize the binomial distribution, so it is addressed to 16-18 year-olds students.
